- 27th: Fundamental Fencing Strategies and Tactics: Time: 9am - 1pm. Suitable for fencers with well developed fundamental skills who wish to develop their tactical and strategic skills. This course will provide the basic structures for fencing strategies and tactics to allow the fencer to make calculated choices and use of their technical skills more effectively. Strategies and tactics are important for playing the fencing game well and for competitive performance. Weapons: All (foil, epee, sabre). - 28th: Advanced Fencing Strategies and Tactics: Time: 9am - 1pm. The Advanced Fencing Strategies and Tactics course is suitable for confirmed competitive fencers. The course will provide tools for fencers to further develop and extend their strategic and tactical abilities. It is recommended that fencers with limited international fencing experience also complete the Fundamental Fencing Strategies and Tactic Course. Weapons: All (foil, epee, sabre). - 13th: Introductory Foil Coach: Duration 5 hours. Suitable for any person who has little or no coaching experience and is seeking the basic skills necessary to introduce fencers to foil. Course covers basic ideas and principles for coaching foil fencing and practical ideas for managing foil introductory lessons. Course notes included.
